Waitatavi Bay is home to Rainbow Reef Beach Estates which is comprised of 16 lots 3 of which have been set aside as the central resort and community resource area, and 1 additional lot set aside as community open space. The overall development comprises of 38 acres of land and almost a 1/2 mile of beach front. This pristine white sand beach is shared through common easements allowing free access to the entire beach front by individual homeowners and their guests. The overall development and individual lot are managed by the resort company allowing individual lot owners to enjoy their properties without the burden of maintaining them from afar. Future development of Waitatavi Bay has been intentionally limited to the 12 executive lots that vary in size from 2-3 acres in order to preserve the bay, the beach, and the surrounding rain forest. For those who are fortunate enough to be a part of Waitatavi Bay, Rainbow Reef Beach Estates offers the privacy, seclusion, and remoteness of the Fijian Island.
Waitatavi Bay is not for everyone but just for a select few. It’s remoteness may not appeal to everyone. It’s part of it’s character with intent of long term preservation of the development and the bay.

Waitatavi Bay is a master plan community with covenants and restrictions that due limit future development in order to enhance and preserve the environment and encourage proper development of the individual lots. The current master plan includes potential site building locations that preserve shared open views and create landscape buffer zones that will provide adequate privacy between neighbors. Waitatavi Bay is not only secluded it is very protected from most adverse weather conditions due to it’s south western exposure. While high winds may affect our neighbors, Waitatavi Bay remains naturally protected.

The landscape plan for Waitatavi Bay acknowledges the rain forest environment and protects the native habitat. We preserve common open space views to our meadow and communal use of our beach front. New landscaping is strategically placed in order to both maintain views and accommodate privacy between individual property owners. Enjoy our loop trail that borders all lots and allows you to hike from beach front to the highest ridge lines of the property. Whether you enjoy the trails for exercise or vistas, you won’t be disappointed.
